Message from the Founders

Welcome to Golden Values School!

GVS  is more than just a school. It is a formation house where values and right  living are as important as the teaching of academics.

Having spent many years as consultants to corporations, we  have seen highly educated men and women fail because of ill-advised behavior,  twisted thinking and an absence of true values. With this in mind, we founded  GVS. We wanted a school that would focus as much on the spiritual, the emotional  and the values training as well as on the teaching of academics. In this we are  convinced, we have succeeded.

The  small classes and our continued focus on our priorities ensure personalized  attention to our children. We know them well and are quick to respond when we  observe behavior that is unhealthy and could lead to trouble in the future.

In line with this concern, we work closely with our parents. They are kept appraised of the values and emotional development of their children as well as the academic progress they are making. No surprises at the end of the school year.

Because of our experience in working with troubled youths  over the years (rehabilitation of drug dependents and those with attitudinal and  behavioral problems) we are quick to focus on children who are potential  problems. We get them the help they need.

This  balance of academics and values training is what we are all about. If this is  your concern, you will feel at home in Golden Values  School.

Message from the Directress

Vanessa Garon Vandevoort
GVSian '92
School Directress/ Trainer/ Radio Host/ Scuba Diver

A school born out of love  of concerned parents, for their first child… that's how Golden Values School  came about. I feel very blessed having parents who were so concerned about my  values formation and academic performance, that they put up a school fit for me.

I can proudly say that I am the person I am today because of the values  and learning I acquired in the school my parents carefully put together to find  the right balance of proper attitudes and academics. As my father would always  say, "It's not the smartest people who make it in life… rather it's those who  have the right attitudes."

I made it a mission in life to help mold the  young into well-rounded individuals in the future. That is why as the future head of my alma mater, I will hope for every child to gain a chance of  experiencing "the GVS way of life". For sure, that child will not just be a number in
